When applying to college (or grad school, or anything really!), it's important to understand your audience.
College readers are BUSY. Applicants have just a few pages in which to make a positive impression. It's important to be distinctive, inspiring, and memorable!
At Seeing Beyond, we help students write their stories in a way that is appealing and exciting for college readers.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a team of scholars, artists, teachers, and storytellers. We have over 30 years of collective experience working with students as they navigate the college application process.
Our areas of expertise span filmmaking, fine arts, literature, language, history, social justice, sociology, math, and physics. We provide exceptional support to students and their families by pooling our collective expertise and calling on our extensive network of writers, educators, and college experts.
My advisor turned an intimidating process into an introspective and creative one! Our countless hours spent on many drafts of my college essay certainly paid off as I got accepted into one of my top schools, NYU Tisch!!! I wouldn’t be where I am today without her kindness.
